Here it is, early September, and we're still making music in one place or another. Our most recent gigs have been at the Harborwalk Marina Yacht Club in Hitchcock, TX. We've also been performing private parties in and around Galveston

Some of you may have even been fortunate (?) enough to get a shout out from Mike as you passed by Gravity Bar in downtown Galveston in June and July. We played there briefly on Saturday afternoons. Gravity is a fun place with floor to ceiling doors that stay open during busy weekends, giving the place a "Texas Ice House" feel.

Were will we show up next? Cocktails Lounge on 2411 Mechanic St. (409-762-7900, Galveston TX 77550-1413). I'll have to check again with Mike, but last I heard we will be playing there on Saturday evenings beginning September 8, 2007. Stay tuned!

Here it is, one year since some of us were on I45 wondering what would strike first -- a the hurricane (Rita, of course), a heat stroke, an empty gas tank, or the neighbor in the next car going through road rage.
